JheeKuma Clay Arts works with Newar potters in Thimi (Madhyapur), between Kathmandu and Bhaktapur — a valley town where families have shaped river clay for generations. What begins as earth from the Madhyapur banks becomes gamala, water vessels, filters and ritual ware used in kitchens, courtyards and festivals.
